I find it so difficult choosing gifts for boys, let alone knitting toys for boys. The knitted rat pattern from Lily Sugar'n Cream, that I've mentioned before, is one of my favourite toy patterns for those hard-to-gift kids. Thanks to the random assortment of yarn currently in my knitting basket, my latest rat has turned out to be a bit of a mutant. Having thought about it, I don't really think that's a negative as it's destined for yet another toddler boy child.

My previous rats turned out fairly normal by comparison... :o
